Warehouse Express problem!!! Please help...

Hi all, not sure if anyone else has had any problems with WE, but I`m puzzled over their customer services today.
I bought a teleconverter for my camera in June. Turns out the advice I was given by WE for the teleconverter was wrong & it doesn`t fit my camera. Tried emailing several times to get returns number, but had no response.
Then I made the mistake of ordering a filter from them, they send the wrong one to me. Yet again no repsonse to emails for a returns number. I tried the Live Chat but was never `chatted` to. Any phone calls just end up with the operator telling you that you have to email the details to them...argh!!
Last month I finally spoke to someone and told them I`d returned both items in September after eventually getting a call back & being given a returns number. WE bloke says `oh yeah, we forgot to refund you. We`ll do that today.` I ask him to confirm the amount, but the amount he gives me doesn`t include the £190 odd for the refund of the teleconverter. He says that only the filter was in the parcel they received. I definitely posted both back together, have still got proof of postage, neither item is any good to me.
I`ve now had an email saying that they won`t be refunding me for the teleconverter as they didn`t receive it back with the filter & that`s that. If I have any problems with that to take it up with Royal Mail.
My `problem` is that they admit they took the filter back but have said they didn`t get the teleconverter back.
Where do I stand with this matter? I`m pretty sure RM won`t care as their job was done.
Sorry for the rant but I`m really pi**ed off with them. Their whole attitude sucks!!!
Anyone had an experience like this? What was the solution?

Would the weight of the teleconvertor be enough to show up as a difference to just the filter, I hope I made sense.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

How did you send it back...regular, recorded or special delivery?0
-
Yes your receipt from RM should include the weight0
-
I sent it back using ordinary post so no record of the weight etc.
I know I should`ve used recorded delivery but to be honest I wasn`t in the best frame of mind to be thinking straight having just lost my Dad a few weeks earlier.
I remember the lady at the post office saying it would cost x amount and me just not having enough money, as it wasn`t the only thing I was posting that day.
I`m screwed aren`t I? Relying on their honesty wasn`t a good idea methinks...0 -
You're not being very clear about what's happened.
Also, If you sent it normal post then you can tell from the cost what weight range it is. Check your receipt.0 -
The only receipt I have is the proof of posting slip, not an actual receipt for payment. I may have that somewhere but can't lay my hand on it at the moment.
What isn't clear?0 -
Regular/recorded covers you for up to100 X 1st class stamp cost...£42? Special Delivery is what you should have used I think. Check the Royal Mail website0
