why do you want to transfer them?
surely you want them off the card and backed up/printed?

Copy them to DVD's, they are a little bigger but just a easy to lose ;)

Edit\; Whilst on the subject it may be prudent to back up your PC stuff too

you can(and should) back them onto DVD
i have copies on multiple hard drives,DVDs and i store all my photos on my ipod
  • You could copy them to a file in your hard drive then move them to the new 2Gb card.

    Hope this helps.

If you make a new folder on desktop, right click on empty space, new, then folder and name it pics or whatever you can put them there and start to use the 1GB card again.
Connect your 1GB card to reader and open it in my computer-then simply cut and paste into new folder (highlight all,r.click-copy, open pics folder and paste there)
May be best to format the card ,in my computer,r.click ,format,fat32.
