i've got digi camera with a 1GB sd card ... and built up x amount of photos .. but now it says it's full.
I've got a 2gb new card ... can i transfer the photos onto it ? ...
and how ?
I use a desktop with windows xp ..
i've a "secure digital..pocket reader" adaptor thing that i put the sd card in and then the reader into my pc .. in order for me to view / print on my pc.....
and i do use a usb pen thing for backing up word/excel stuff ....
but that's as far as my knowledge & ability goes !!
grateful for advice .

you can(and should) back them onto DVD
i have copies on multiple hard drives,DVDs and i store all my photos on my ipod0 -
You could copy them to a file in your hard drive then move them to the new 2Gb card.
Hope this helps.

If you make a new folder on desktop, right click on empty space, new, then folder and name it pics or whatever you can put them there and start to use the 1GB card again.
Connect your 1GB card to reader and open it in my computer-then simply cut and paste into new folder (highlight all,r.click-copy, open pics folder and paste there)
May be best to format the card ,in my computer,r.click ,format,fat32.0
