What's it about?
It's Student Finance Week this week, and as such I've agreed to go and do a webchat for the Department for Education and Skills to talk about how to do Student Finance the MoneySaving way. Anything on how to live and budget and how loans and fees work.
It's suitable for students, parents and sixth formers.
When?
Wednesday 18 October at 5pm
How to join in
Thankfully I'm not taxing the site's servers by holding it here. If you'd like to join in follow this webchat link.

Hit by debt.
Hit by the fastest rising tax burden in Europe.
Hit by unfunded pension liabilities.
Hit by pensions & demographic trends that require decreasing numbers of workers to fund increasing numbers of pensioners (even though those pensions haven't been property planned for by the Treasury).
And us "oldies" will selfishly use their continued, baffling, self-destructive reluctance to vote as a means of passing on bills their way:rotfl:.
At least Martin can rescue a few with the gumption to listen 'n learn via his tips, even if the rest of us have abandoned this generation for perfectly obvious, selfish reasons
One day there will have to be a reckoning of sorts.
Probably it will come in around a decade.0 -
i really feel it needs to be mentioned; the nus extra card. unions are not offering impartial advice as they are getting huge sums of money from this so students honestly dont know if its worth buying or not. i really dont think its worth while and that this needs to be made clear to students that it is not always worth while!
will try to join in the chat but have a feeling that uni will actually get in the way. ironic.:A Boots Tart :A0 -
