Not entitled to disabled part of working tax

Is really fed up that tax credit has taken £65 off us a week as my husband isnt entitled to the ' Disabled part ' of working tax anymore. I'm not disputing that he's not entitled to it but i'm disputing the amount they are taking off. I only got £30 working tax a week anyway so they taken the rest of the Child tax. We were supposed to have recieved letters but never have

Were you first awarded the disability element as your husband was receiving a qualifying benefit and working? Has that benefit now stopped?

he gets Industrial injuries disablement benefit and he still gets it. Hes classed as 30% disabled and will get that benefit for life. So he still gets it and still works

The disabled element is worth £5k OTTOMH.

The fact he gets IIDB is irrelevant. You either need DLA or a condition which restricts the hours you can work and the type of work you can do along with a bucket load of supporting evidence from a specialist.

he had an accident at work in 2001 in which his hand was mangled in a machine. his little finger is permentely bent and he cant lift heavy objects. he has a large thick scar that runs up his arm. his hand hurts more in the cold weather in which he is restricted with what he can do. on the top of his hand is a large lump where he had a skin graft done
