Nintendo DS Flips @ Toysrus for only £4.99

Thanks OP, I saw these a few months ago but did not want to pay £9.99. Went off to TRU today and bought all 7.

I was paying and saw that Cathy Cassidy was about Boys, life and friendships and that while there is no age requirements that parents should be aware of the contect. Can someone tell me the content please, DD has just turned 8, I'll hang onto it for a few years if it is about boys.

Are all the other titles suitable for an 8 year old?

My DD is 8 in January - I'll be saving the Cathy Cassidy and Percy Jackson ones until next year. I've not read the Percy Jackson book, but the cover looks a bit gruesome to me, and DD is bit 'sensitive'.

ETA: I just googled and read a few pages. It doesn't seem too bad to me, well not as bad as the Monster High book, I'm reading to her at bedtime. Ghouls, Frankinstein Monsters and Wherewolves, etc in that one . It looks fine to me. Open it, read a bit and see what you think if you're worried.

they still have some of these in the portsmouth store, we picked up the too ghool for school set. There were others though around the other side of the ds stand.

Thanks so much to OP - I have reserved three, was at a loss what to get nephews and DD as stocking filler and these sound perfect! Have got artemis fowl for 10 yr old nephew, and mr gum for 8 yr old dd and other nephew!
