thanks - great deal - I don't normally expect a bargain at Toys R Us! Today I bought Faraway Tree, Cathy Cassidy and Eoin Colfer for stocking fillers... and spread the word amongst mums in the school playground too!

Anyone notice when the offer runs until?

Also if anyone has one already in use, can the font be increased in size? I have a visually impaired daughter who struggles to read an ordinary book, so if these could be adapted they'd be perfect!

Thanks for this! I got Cathy Cassidy for my 11 yr old today as a stocking filler. I don't think she was even aware that these existed and I know she will be thrilled with it as she has read and enjoyed a couple of her books. Money is very tight for us this year but thanks to all you wonderful people on MSE taking the time and effort to post these fantastic grabbits I have been able to get some lovely presents for the family. x

I went into my local Toys r us in Purley Way Croydon and they had lots of these in stock. IM sure not many people know about these

Milton Keynes store has lots of these and they have filled them up from yesterday - they have all the titles [both sides of the aisle] and all priced at £4.99 - I have just been and bought some more for pressies later in the year and I may end up having to read some myself - Artemis looks good

Thanks so much OP - I'd never even heard of these before checking out this post.

I really wanted to get at least 1 for my sons birthday later this month for him to try and see if it could encourage his reading but was wondering when I'd ever get the chance to visit the store without him in tow.

Luckily yesterday my mum rang out of the blue asking toy advice as she was in toys r us so i got her to pick one up - Fantastic! Thank you very very much! :A

Thanks OP, just bought one Enid Blyton one, and the Percy Jackson one for my 2 daughters from TRU in Swansea. There wasn't much choice though, and there weren't many there. The Percy Jackson one was marked at £9.99, but when I asked, they scanned it and confirmed that it was £4.99.

I would love to get the Cathy Cassidy one if it is in stock anywhere near me.
