Tax from disabled to prv?
Hi there.
I bought car that was taxed as a disabled but last owner pick tax for another car. Now i have car that is no tax on but is in disabled tax class. I dont have any documents from the last owner that the car was taxed as disabled becouse they transfer tax on new car. So what i can do now?

I think you need to go to a local DVLA office to have the tax class changed on the car and to re-tax it. Remember you will need to take your Insurance and MOT docs along.
Also the seller can't just pull the disabled tax disc out of the window to put into his new car!0 -
Lee is correct. You need to go to a DVLA office, not a Post Office, and get the records changed. They will then tax the car for you. Until then you can't drive the car on the road. We bought an ex-motability car at auction a couple of years ago and had to go through this process, it's quite simple to sort out.0
