need pin code for technika freeview telly!!!

My daughters technika freeview tell just stopped working cant reset the freeview channels as keeps asking for a pin code!! this is a new one to us as never set it up with a pin code when bought 2 yrs ago.. everything been fine up untill a few days ago.. will only work with dvd now nothing else..

before i ring tescos (technika there own make) i wondered if anyone else had this problem..

I think the fall back code on most of them is either 1234 or 0000

tried them both and nothing not even letting me view any kind of telly,,

just keeps saying put in pin code when i try to tune telly..

anyone help

Are you sure 0000 doesn't work? Were you "locked out" by failed pin attempts?
Heres a technika manual with pin 0000 - p.22 I know not your model but surely technika do not use different pin default every model?

and check to see if there is a small reset button anywhere this should set it back to its default settings.
