One of the world’s most colourful, exciting and biggest sporting occasions gets under way in Nepal in November and courtesy of Chivas Regal Scotch Whisky you could be there to witness the larger than life World Elephant Polo Championships.

2006 is a special year as the World Elephant Polo Association celebrates their 25th anniversary and the Chivas Regal Scotland team, the reigning World Champions, aim for a third consecutive victory.

Situated 75 miles south west of Kathmandu at 150m above sea level, the action gets under way in the heart of the Royal Chitwan National Park – one of Asia’s richest and most spectacular wildlife sanctuaries. The jumbo-sized teams will battle it out to be crowned World Champions against the impressive backdrop of the mighty Himalayas.
