Balance Transfer Query

How long ( in working days) will it take me to transfer a balance 400 from my barclaycard inital credit to my HSBC credit card??

I would have thought that this wouldn't take any longer than three or four days, although from past experience I know that credit card companies like to be slow. Whereas a cheque 'clears' in three days, balance transfers seem to take longer.
Personally I would ring Barclaycard, or if you service your account online, if you can, send them a message through that to save yourself the cost of the call.0 -

fastest: 4 days (Egg)
slowest: 6 weeks (Barclaycard)
