    Your sdispute is with the fitter.

    You can, if you wish, contact the supplier and let them know of the problems and suggest that they may not wish to recommend him to others, but you don't have any kind of claim against them, so focus of the fitter.

    You are entitled to be put in the position you would have been in, had the applicance been fitted correctly, which would normally include covering any addictional costs you have incurred, and bringing the fitting up to spec.

    Gas Saf may be able to help you in daeling with the fitter, and if not, you can pursue the fitter through the small claims court. You need to give him the opportunity to correct the faults before you incur costs getting someone else to do so.

    Generally I’d agree but in this case the original fitter has already had multiple attempts at getting it right and left it in a working but life threateningly dangerous condition.

    Only a fool would let him have another go at it and therefore I’d say the OP can employ others to fix it (assuming gas safe don’t get it sorted out)
