  • hia, im glad you are happy but you've paid, you got the item thats it. Don't go giving them any more money! If they didnt get the postage cost before the auction and are out of pocket that is their fault not yours. Also..ive just posted a camera and it cost £4 so im guessing you bought a huge heavy heavy one!

    That is not good advice, the seller only paid the extra money because they were asked, and as they kept to their side of the bargain they should get the money back.
    They can't force the OP, but they will end up thinking all buyers are fuxxing scammers.
    And asking for something and refusing to pay for it later, just because the seller is a bit naive about ebay rules and their comms skill are not great, I'm afraid it does sound like a scam.

    Contact him - make your offer again - he may decline it but then you can have a bit more peace of mind that you did the right thing.
