Does anyone know about Henderson Investment Trust?

Thanks for the valuable advice given on MSE for other things. My one and only investment in stock market was with former Henderson Electric & General Investment Trust ISA, the shares are now worth something like half what I paid for them and the firm has been handed over to someone called BNP Paribas who have asked me for permission to hand over running of the trust.
I haven't been able to find any information or advice on internet about what I should do in terms of selling up, staying with Hendersons or going over to BNP. If anyone can point me in right direction it would be much appreciated

Hi, there,
Here's a link to the news about the change of manager - the trust is now managed by a firm called Taube Hodson Stonex -

You don't have any choice in whether you go over or not, I'm afraid ( except of course that you can sell the shares ).
Recent RNS announcements ( always very interesting ).

Since the change of management is so recent, it might be worth giving it, say, six months? Can't advise you as such but if I were in your position I would hang on for a bit - the new fund managers may do wonders :-).
