Windows Media Player issues

Hi there

Ive tried playing CD's Ive burned to my playlist in WMP but for some reason it comes up with error message C00D11CD. The MP3's in the playlist all play fine, but the CD songs all turn red with an exclamation mark.

It is Windows Media Player Version 10. I burned these songs from the CD's years ago and never had any issues before now. Can anyone help please, I dont have most of the CD's anymore so would be gutted if I wouldnt be able to play them on WMP anymore.

Thanks!

  • I have encountered similar issues with Windows Media Player

Consequently I now use VLC media player instead - and I've never had any problems.

Perhaps worth considering as an alternative and one that can provide a quick and easy solution to your problem.

This may be a silly question, but how would I transfer all my files over from WMP to VLC, I literally have hundreds of songs on there. Is it automatically done when you download it? :o
