  • Hi Rich,

You're welcome, I will pass your thanks onto Chris. Fireworks will be on sale 2 weeks prior to November 5th.

    Thanks

    Tesco FB just said this:

    TESCO: Hi Rich,

We are going to be selling fireworks this year, and information leaflets will be in store 2 weeks prior along with the fireworks themselves :)

    Hope that helps

Well that's as clear as mud, I presume2 weeks prior means two weeks mathematically before Nov 5th? And the fireworks will arrive in store on this date along with the advertising leaflets? That's like handing out there's a fun fair in town notice boards at the entrance to the fun fair.

Glad the others don't do this.
  • I queried this - yes they do mean 2 weeks prior to Nov 5th.

  • I would imagine these guys in customer services don't acutally know anything other than what they have been told to say.
As for Asda - as mentioned before, my Dad is a Store Manager and he up until last night didn't know anything. All he knew for sure was he would be selling them as he had the display units delivered.
  • Leaflets sorted

    Hi Stephen,

They should appear in stores from the beginning of next week :-)

Bit pointless wasting a week when they only have a 3 and a bit week license to sell...
