i read somewhere on a different forum i think, that this years widow makers are a little quieter than last years.

hope they are the same, as last years were amazing. bought 2 packs this year from JTF and maybe gonna buy a couple more. they are great.

cant wait to set off my thunderkings :)

have an armoury crate as well so im intrigued to find out how good the items are.

bought my first open fire/x fire this year for my finale. heard good things about them and the vid seems pretty good so im looking forward to that also

Yeah open fire is supposed to be brilliant! :)

Hope I can hear some fireworks tonight with it being diwali! There have been quite a few bits been set off here over the last few nights, hope this years Bonfire Night is nice and loud and colourful! It is a Saturday so I suppose more people may have fireworks this year on the one night rather than the usual 'delaying' until the nearest Saturday?

This is what I'm thinking will happen as well. More firework activity. _party_

I hope so, would be nice to hear a nice loud bonfire night that have been lacking a little over the last couple of years.

Must admit last year I delayed my display til the Saturday so I didnt really help :rotfl:

The other volcano in the pyro time pack, loved the way it just turned the back yard red.:)

Sounds interesting, what does it do, is it just a silent intensly coloured flame? The Esco Cinder Cones do that.

Do you remember which one of the two it was?

Just noticed someone has posted a stash pic on UKFR and they have the tesco wheel pack (2 wheels for £5). They look quite decent for the price, need to try and get down to tesco to pick some up now!

Im tempted to try one of the volcano cones tonight along with a few of those mini fountains in the box. Ive been good this year and have only fired one firework so far since I bought them a couple of weeks ago :rotfl:
  • I'm lucky enough to have a newsagents close to me who get all their firework stock from EPIC (albeit the small stuff). So, I like to buy a few small roman candles from there (Sky Blast etc.) a few days before GFN and set them off and thus release some of my excitement!!! :D (The newsagents hikes the prices up [as you'd expect], so a pack of Sky Blast costs around £1.70 and the SOS box is around £15). Not really bothered as I got my main stash from Epic. :D
