i am going out at the weekend to buy my fireworks and have a rough list in mind. it would be good if anyone could tell me if any of the fireworks i have on the list are trash or if it all sounds good
lidl/ 3 25 carats, 4 ipanema, 2 cyber box
newsbox fireworks/ 2 atom bomb, 2 thunder king roman candles, 2 jumping grass hoppers, 2 santana, twister and kimbolton platnium box set with a free thunder spider
any advise will be taken and thanks in advance0 -
Wow i don't care about anyone elses opinon but i think that mystic selection box looks amazing value along with most of their range. If i went their i would stay away from the single cakes as they are bound to be overpriced.0

To be fair Aldi's range does look quite decent this year (for a supermarket).
Yeah, its not weco and its not 'Amazing' but for families the selection packs look ok for the price.
The sparklers are also really good value and Il be buying some of the 'giant' ones at £1.39 for 10 aint bad!
Also yes you should be able to mix and match lidls 3 for £20 range as I said a few pages back.0 -

Thats on the basis of last years offer on fireworks anyway. The 3 for... labels are exactly the same as last year and you could mix and match them, may be worth confirming before you buy though0 -

Will do and i think if not then the manager can be sweet talked as he still gets the sale0 -

I would have appreciated a post on here from the owner of thefireworkshoplist.com/blog/uk-retail/aldi-2011-fireworks/ acknowledging the use of the images I scanned and then posted on here, it's not like I mind. lol
Anyway, the Aldi range isn't as bad as some people are making it out to be. Yes, it's TNT (again) but some of the products are decent, for example, the Jet Blast rockets (called something else last year?) are excellent and easily worth the £10.0
