Hi all hope your all well this year. I have been scanning some forums lately, and updated the new Tesco fireworks page, http://www.thefireworkshoplist.com/blog/uk-retail/tesco-fireworks/ basically some information on what Tesco will be selling this year

Its going to be an interesting time of the year, with all these cuts looming around.

Thanks for the run down on the contents, no shortage of variety. Did go to the JTF Tamworth display last night and looked at the dummy boxes afterwards in store, Magnitude is huge. Picked up a Guy Fawkes Bonfire Selection box too, hmmm, OK I suppose for the money. JTF are also stocking portfires, 79p per pack of 3 plus VAT. Not in the catalogue.

Monsterberry I know what you mean on the tiddlers but I like all fireworks and am still strangely attracted to small selection boxes, something from my youth no doubt

Yes i get what you mean mate i dont hate small fireworks my self just favour the larger pyro

Also ive just picked up some new pyro will post a youtube vid in 10 mins.

Excellent! Sounds like a wider selection than last year. Where's the info coming from? Do you have a flyer?

this is an amazing little box what i had last year. Unfortunatly i totally forgot about this little bundle of joy and at a price that gos a bit over 5 pound for 23 small pieces you can't lose. Suprisingly, the shot tubes are really powerful and personally the rockets, that match the american's "bottle rockets", are my favourite because i loving the screaming sound when they go up and sometimes you may even get a silver tail as it goes up.

Does the Palm Tree Burst single shotter in Fire In The Sky produce a bang and colourful palm tree burst or is it weak and floppy with no bang and a simple swarm of flying fish or bees or a quiet burst of falling coloured leaves to comply to 1.4g spec? I have a Palm Tree Burst single shotter in my Magnitude Selection Box;it feels like something substantial is in it-I shook it a little to check what was in it, feels slightly heavy like a bombette is in it(also on the label it says Ejects stars and bangs, Star Burst feels much lighter and isn't quite so substantial and just says Ejects stars).

What I would like to see at Lidl and they never do it is Weco Diamant Sonne pinwheel, I bet they don't sell it because Kimbolton Fireworks has bagged the rights to it, they sell it in the UK with english language instructions on a sticky label. Weco also have another beautiful pinwheel called Mandarin Sonne;emitting beautiful orange effects with sparks. Some wheels as part of the Weco range at Lidl would improve the product offering quite nicely indeed.
