I've got a Guy Fawkes Magnitude Selection Box from Winners on Saturday at £47.94 and the quality of the items is excellent;no loose leaky bottoms/no loose fuses etc just good quality fireworks all the way! I think JTF have listened and improved product quality. By the way Guy Fawkes Cascades Selection Box at £20.34 is a merely badged version of the ESCO Rio Grande Selection Box at £69.99 retail, and still has 25 metre labels on all the fireworks even on the small garden firework sized stuff in the box, some of them are so tame gentle and poor at 25 metres it's so untrue! Also it's the first time this year that I have ever seen the CE mark on fireworks;my selection box and all it's contents have the CE mark on them as well as Contents comply with BS7114 part2 1988 on them as well as Net Explosive Content on each firework and the warning FOR OUTDOOR USE ONLY.

Good to know, have you got a picture of the box contents? It looks quite a sizeable selection.

Noticed your video review on the Brightstar Giant Bonfire selection too, Sima have these at £15 inc VAT, good deal?

The brightstar giant bonfire selection is reasonable value for the money. 3.5/5

I agree with anthony its a good pack but it depends on your needs as for me i wouldn't lite them to small but for small garden displays its good value:beer:

The Guy Fawkes Magnitude Selection Box has a varied and interesting mix of 50 garden and display fireworks;an assortment of garden firework fountains and display firework fountains, five display firework mines, two single shot display firework roman candles, three garden firework multishot roman candles,a 4 bar display firework roman candle bouquet on a stake,a 56shot display firework roman candle battery, six assorted 18shot display firework roman candle cakes and six groundstakes to secure them to the ground,19 assorted garden firework pack rockets,a smallish whistling garden firework triangle wheel,a long lasting garden firework colour pinwheel, and a twin effect display firework wheel. It is quite a sizeable selection for the money as you say Si7 and is ok for bigger gardens and larger parties.

Thanks for the run down on the contents, no shortage of variety. Did go to the JTF Tamworth display last night and looked at the dummy boxes afterwards in store, Magnitude is huge. Picked up a Guy Fawkes Bonfire Selection box too, hmmm, OK I suppose for the money. JTF are also stocking portfires, 79p per pack of 3 plus VAT. Not in the catalogue.

Monsterberry I know what you mean on the tiddlers but I like all fireworks and am still strangely attracted to small selection boxes, something from my youth no doubt

Bonfire is ok but don't expect too much from it being all Cat2 5m fireworks,a decent larger box with a comprehensive mix of Cat2 5m fireworks and Cat3 25m fireworks is better.

I'd like to get hold of a Brothers SOS box out of interest, looks a superb smaller offering, the video alone lasts around 8 or 9 minutes. Nowhere in the Midlands stocks it that I have found so far, might have to take a trip up North to Galactic Fireworks or Epic Fireworks, they both stock Brothers it but that won't be a cheap day out ;)
