Hmmm I was just thinking, I wonder if bonfire night is going to be loud and busy (lots of people setting off fireworks) this year. The reason I was wondering is because this year there seems to be more and more shops selling pyro than ever before! Eg we have the Argos, b&q (1st time last year) and also there is quite a lot of seasonal shops that have appeared round here this year. One has opened up at the end of my road, haven't bothered to go in though as I just know by the signs that its going to be dancing red devil or Bulldog fireworks!

I just hope that this year it will liven up again to what it used to be like a few years ago as I really thought that it was quiet last year.
speakin of bulldog fireworks (whose site isn't jet complete) have reached my collection. Hope they preform. Really heavy selection box with a couple of cakes in. And its always packed on bonfire night and days before and after so the season won't go quiet this year and if it did our fireworks will change that:j.

Ive had a few Bulldog selection boxes in the past and tbh they have been good!

The fountains that were in them were window dressed as large squares that looked like cakes but when lit they produced big effects, also the roman candles/ mines in there were quite good with r/c having crackle effect rather than just a coloured star.

I think my box had 2 cakes in something like 16 shots each. They were ok just some stars and bangs but for the price of the box it all went well and lasted a while! I payed £30 for my box that year :)

The wheels look fantastic, always like a wheel to start a display! Think I'll fire two together on posts about 10ft apart with 3 x Thundering Space Spiders belting out in the middle plus 2 x Glittering Gemstone fountains mad crackling away either side of the cakes, a sort of "look this way people" set piece to start the evening haha :D
  • hey you guys again has anyone let off any off the jtf new range fireworks this year as they look way better than last years so i just want proof that jtf fireworks improve every year not just in the way they are seen as. Well, back on topic with my question if you have i would like to know if they are any good and the barrages in the selection boxs and the ones sold seperatly are any good. Jtf better not let me down this year because i might have to fall back on british bulldog fireworks next year if they are any good. :):)

Just got the tesco leaflet eventually!

Suppose the 5 fireworks for £25 and a '£25' piece free is ok! The 5 you can choose from include a 15 piece selection box, 5 rockets, fountain, fountain/ cake x2

For £25 I dont think its too bad, the fireworks wont be up to much but you have a nice little selection for £25 to light, good for those on budget.

Lol, reading the back they dont half big up the fireworks! "Display in a box- A very large aerial display, producing massive aerial bursts a choreographed sequence of light and sound, often lasting for several minutes. Light this once sand enjoy your own impressive display". Talk about bigging it up lol, people will be expecting a professional display the way they have worded it. They may as well have put it has a built in speaker so your display is set to music or something! haha

Also, spot the typing mistake, that wasn't me its like that on the leaflet lol!

Doesn't look too bad @ £25 for 5 mix & match pieces, better than some deals out there for sure!

Can't find the spelling mistake on my leaflet.. (Mine's issue FW33-N3-1, bottom left, back cover) Is it "sand" though :D
