Hi
I am looking to put some wood flooring down in the hallway and have seen this:
http://www.diy.com/diy/jsp/bq/nav.jsp?action=detail&fh_secondid=10677565&fh_view_size=150&fh_start_index=0&fh_eds=%3f&fh_location=%2f%2fcatal!!!1%2fen_GB%2fcategories%3c%7b9372013%7d%2fcategories%3c%7b9372028%7d%2fcategories%3c%7b9372109%7d%2fspecificationsProductType%3dsolid_wood_flooring&fh_refview=lister&ts=1289248883822&isSearch=false
Is this ok for the hallway? Also it says its not waterproof - does that mean I cannot mop it?

Yes, you can wash it - with a mop that is not dripping with water. We had engineered oak flooring in our previous house and I used to mop it - no damage. How do you think all those years that people had floorboads and no hoovers went by?
As long as you mop/cloth is not dripping with water, it will be ok, I would say. It is like cleaning your wooden table with a damp cloth, isn't it?Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0
