Esa/incap

Hello people Iam new to this site just wanted to tell you abit about me and what are your opinions on my topic.

My name is Paul Iam 33 years old I have Chronic Psoriatic Arthritis/Spondylitis. My Sacroiliac joints have fused I have constant pain swelling in my spine have pain in my rib cage, hands, fingers, knees, hips etc.
I have a cocktail of drugs daily which are Adcal,Ompeprozole 20mg x2,Prednisolone 10mg,Amytryptyline 40mg,
Leflunomide 20mg,Dihydrocodiene x8 daily 30mg, Simvastain 40mg and have to go to the hospital once every 6 weeks for a Infliximab infusion, then thus blood tests etc,so as you can see Iam not in a good way.
I receive High rate DLA for both mobility and personel care.I also get High Incap and severe disablement allowance.I have also had my mortgage paid off too by this insurance company.

I must admit that I am worried about this ESA thing thats replacing Incapacity benefit. Some of the questions that are on this form are stupid.like can you pick up a pen? can you turn on a tap, i only have to knock my tap with my finger and it comes on!
I have heard stories of poorly/disabled people being made to work!
Iam in constant pain feel extremely tired feel sick sometimes I hate being on benefits but what else can I do.
what do you chaps think about ESA can anybody make me feel abit better regarding the new ESA?
I have written to David Cameron about this too also, Ian Duncan-smith and someone else can't remember her name.
Many thanks Paul.

Not sure what your question is??

When transferred to ESA you will have a medical and going by the information above you will be probably placed in the work focused group. No one is made to work, the idea is that they will help you to see if there is any sort of work you may be able to do.

My condition is similar to yours and I take a similar amount of medication as well as morphine. I am planning on going self employed and doing work from home so that I can work around my illness and condition. I have the support of my social worker and a PA who will be helping me!

Is there anything you could do from home?
