Reconditioned Camera from Jessops

I ordered a reconditioned camera from jessops - checked clearly on the details what was included, it arrived today in a box looking like it'd been left outside for a year - and inside was the camera and the strap that's it, no battery, no battery charger - completely and totally useless to me. As the battery and charger were included in the description as being in the box am I entitled to insist they send them to me - I spoke to their sales department and they have both in stock - but when i rang CS the guy refused to send them to me and told me to send the camera back for a refund. Where do i stand legally?

And then wait TWENTY EIGHT days for them to return my money - i want to persue it further as the fact that they are refusing to send me the battery etc clearly shows they never intended supplying it in the first place despite it being listed in the item description.A home is not a home ..... without a dog

Why ask where you stand ??
you say it is no good with out the bits and the company have said to send it back ???? so just send it back and get a refund.
wouldnt have thought it was a hard decision to make.
