There nothing wrong with getting nice gift sets - its just those awful ones with cheap bubbles and BODY LOTION every year I get about 10!!!!!! haha without meaning to be un grateful but I give them out myself!
Theres some lovely little hot water bottles in tesco £6, add a mini wine or a hot choc set n some truffles = £10 SORTED i would love that!!
Ive managed to get some lovely kids clothes from tesco using my voucher exchange. Great stuffTotal debt £17,135 total paid off £5250 -

hi everyone
I know its early for mothers day ideas lol, but you could use them for xmas, maybe call them something else.
last year my mum and OH mum got a tea break present. several puzzle mags, new pack of pens, box tea/jar of coffee and lots of nicer biscuits. for my OH mum we said we cant be there to help you put your feet up, but we can provide the ingredients lol.
this year they are getting breakfast in bed set. new mug with the right amount of tea/coffee/sugar in a small container in the mug. then a new cheap plate and my 2.5 year old can decorate it, then i will varnish it, and buy some of those mini jams, and maybe if i can find an old knife at a car boot that too!
and for some kids i am doing a post office set, just a pack of normal envelopes, some pens, highlighters, or whatever, some coloured writing paper, some stickers (for stamps), some little ink stamp (got a pack of 4 in sainsburys for 99p). i am also going to make/buy a postman bag to put it all in!
hth someone out there lol!!0 -
oooh, i've thought about doing this this year as well
so you've inspired me to get it sorted! i don't have lots of people to get pressies for really, but i've got some chocs already for my bf's grandparents as they have invited us over to theirs on christmas day, i'll probably get them a few extra bits to make into a little hamper to say thank you for the invite...
my bf's mum i've already got two gifts for & wrapped them, so i might do a small hamper to go along with them too
i'll have to get thinking about what I could do hamper wise for each of my parents as well!0 -
One of my xmas pressies arrived in the post today, its a popcorn box (for a popcorn mad friend) so ive decided to fill it with little goodies for sitting watching a movie! Thanks again for the idea!
