Its 47 days till xmas.... and this year ive decided to get some decent presents for people. Every year i get stung with gift sets that cost a fortune and no really goes wow buzzin when they open it.
Last year I did my own mini hampers for everyone and they loved them so thought I would share them with you.
Last year I got lil gift bags and baskets and bought some gilttery shredded paper from the Card factory but it cheaper on ebay so my mum says.
The best ones were the mini toni n guy sets I made. Silvery shredded paper then bought 3 for 2 in boots for toni n guy minis (usually shampoo conditioner and a treat) then bought a mini bottle of wine from tesco (3 for 2) and some cosy £1 totes socks from homebargains. Costing about £5.00 and it looks great especially if you colour co ordinate n add a bit of ribbon.
This year im making the 'cosy night in set' seen a lush personal tiger print comfy pillow £3 from home bargains and added some lindt chocs (£1 from HB) then bottle of rose wine (£1.26) from Asda. Then the Cosy socks £1 Poundland and girly DVD from amazon some of them £2 plus u can find them on ebay. Ive found some xmasy celophane from ebay and wrapping them all in it with shredded paper.£8.26 not bad considering what you get.
Of course some of my other mates want Pandora - so they cst me the same no matter what!
anyone else got some decent homemade gifts? I want some new ideas - especially for my boyfriend I have nooooo idea what to get him!:eek::eek:

Thanks, your ideas sound brilliant. Thankfully I've not got many 'token gift' people to buy for. The 'cosy night in' set sounds fantastic, I'd love to recieve one of those.Debt Free: 01/01/20200

My friends unfortunatley do not do Token gifts - I wish! They buy me all saints clothes, expensive perfrumes which is great except for I feel a right stinge because I dont have that kind of money - but they love lil personalised gifts. One year my auntie got an old wine box and filled it with everything pink - pink sweets, rose, totes socks, bride wars dvd, Pink Pjs n slippers and pink bubble bath I loved it! It was really personalised.
Ive also bought cineworld tix for two and a big bag of popcorn and put it in a funky elevelope with stars all over it, my friends loved it.
On ebay ive just found a seller who has paco rabanne lady millions for £35 free postage 5oml its 45 in boots and My mum loves it so shes getting a gold hamper - find some funky wine bottle and chocs to go with it.Total debt £17,135 total paid off £5250 -
Ive decided to do my mum gold hamper - Lady million, golden radox, Funcky gold jealwry from new look or primark (usually get for a pound in sale), Golden blonde highlights by john frieda (3 for 2 in boots) and a mini bottle of wine (gold lid) and mini pack of pound chocs. Found a really nice gold box in the card factory. Roughly costing about £50 but it looks amazing!!
My fella is still proving to be difficult - Going to spend a hundred pound on him but want the most I can get out of that, lots of little cool interesting presents!
Was thinking - funky shirt hoody £40 Bank (UGH I KNO!! but i know he wants it)
Metallica rare Dvd he wants (roughly about £10)
Funky boxers (£3)
Concert tix? £30
Lots of bits e.g. nivea shower kit (homebargins 2.99)
Hat £8
arrrrgghhhh its so difficult but I wana look like its loads.
He loves music metallica, slash, guns n roses. What else could I do? any ideas very gratefully recieved. Will stick some pics up here of the hampers I made so u can have a better Idea!Total debt £17,135 total paid off £5250 -
ok so im getting somewhere with presents now!! Found a cool lil crayola teddy that you draw on his belly then you can press it and it acts as a nightlight and sings to lil one ages 18months plus. £8 homebargains. I also found sumo wrestler suits that inflate when you put them on thats 7 for my cousins to have a laugh with. Last but not least ELC has got a sale with Leapfrog bopper thing £70 down to a nice £35 thats the neice sorted. Its like a Wii for kids and it helps them learn! Cant remember what it called now. as a past teacher I know what helps them learn and leapfrog know what they are talking about.
Me and my friends are doing a pandora charm swap 3 friends we each buy a charm and give it to one one buys the other etc with forever friends on it awwwh cute.
Ive also found some gorgeous burts bees sets on ebay love them, hope i dont keep them for myself.

Be careful with perfumes on ebay, I got stung with it once where what they send you is a tester, you think you are buying a decent sized bottle of something and this little tester arrives! It will ruin your day!0 -
