Is this worth ringing-up to change?

Hey all, hope you can help if it's no trouble.
Ok, short version of the story.
Passed my motorbike test recently after using the 2 years' worth of riding on my L-plates, precisely for the purposes of gaining road-experience. (it's one thing you couldn't do in a car which is why I don't drive)
Insured with the same company the whole time.
Renewal time comes along, I ring up to change a couple of options & inform them of new new, full-licence status.
Today, certificate & new statement of fact comes through. Among other details, it reads;
* Who Is The Main Rider? Me
* No-Claims Discount declared; 2
* Number Of Years Experience in The Last 5 Years; 0
Now, what would you think looking at that without any prior knowledge?
Is this guy trying to scam his insurance company!?
I think it's probably worth me ringing them up to get this updated - Unfortunately, while I (thought) I keep all my insurance docs, I only have my certificate from last year, not the statement.
So, I cannot tell just by looking if your "experience" does not increase until you have the full licence - but even that is counter to any kind of logic I recognise...
I do have both docs from the first year, but obviously on that one both NBC & experience will read "0", but yeah - i suppose I was rather hoping some more experienced person will be able to tell me before I make myself look (even more) stupid.
