iPod Touch

Hi Guys
Need to pick your brains please/ My 14 yr old daughter wants a ipod touch for xmas but I cannot justify paying the price they are. Could anyone recommend a good alternative.

Keep an eye on the Appple refurb shop you can pick up a 3rd 8GB Gen one for £120, just gone out of stock though as we got one last week for FIL for Xmas.

What does she want to do with it? There are lots of MP3 players, less MP4 players and even less that have internet access.

Also try CeX. They have lots of stores or you can have free delivery.

Will have to keep a eye on the apple store and the Cex she mainly wants it for the music and the apps the old mp4 she has is not very good. What is Cex is it second hand ehich has been traded or refurbished.

Yes thats what Cex is.
They are fussy about the phones and condition in which they take so i wouldnt worry about the condition aspect!

As for the ipod touch, the older generations are down in price due to the new ones. Do shop around because im sure you could find something suitable

I know that they are expensive but I have to say my teenagers have used them every single day since they got them, and there aren't many other things they own that I can say that about! So if I worked out a per use price, it would be a fairly good purchase I reckon. Can you get her to contribute towards it?

What does the letter A B or C I have seen some advertised as Apple ipod Touch 32gb B

on CEX, A is mint condition (like new)
B is good condition, could be exactly like new without a box, or just a couple of minor scratches with or without a box.
C means it likely won't come with the box or any 'sync' cables and the product will likely be pretty scratched or dinted.

regardless which you get they are all covered by CEXs 1 year warranty, and all will work perfectly well.

in argos they ahd one for 149 plus you got a 20 quid itune voucher was an 8g
