My niece has asked for SF for christmas and me and little sis are getting her this one, now in the argos book it says that it comes with 2 figures free but there's also a blue balloon saying "18 accessories". Now does that mean that there are 18 accessories in the box or that there are 18 accessories for the house? The blurb says that furniture is not included.

Which one is it? - that link leads to a page full of SF

However I would assume that there are 18 pieces of furniture/bits and bobs for the the house along with it.Cross Stitch Cafe member No. 32012 170-194 2013 195-207.Hello Kitty ballerina 208.AVA 209.OLIVIA 210.ELLA 211.CARLA 212.LOUISE 213.CHARLEY 214.Mother & Child 215.Stop Faffing Completed 2014 216.Stitchers Sampler. 217.Let Them Be Small 218.Keep Calm 219. Best get in quick Jen....SF are meant to be having a revial in the Top Ten Toys this year;)
Usually they mean that you will get 18 accessories for the house plus you will also get 2 figures...so 1 accessory would be a chair for example, 1 a table...you get the drift:D0 -
ah I see, i've gathered from the feedback that there is a brother set and a sister set so that means i just need to get a kitchen, dining room and bits for the living room.
we went for beechwood hall because it looks pretty sturdy, does anyone have experience of this one? We've got it on reserve for store pick up through argos.0 -
My daughter is 30 this year and she had Sylvanian family when she was small. Luckily, I have kept it all in the loft. Her daughter (my granddaughter) is now 3 and I have got it from storage. The little one really likes playing with it although she has pulled all the clothes off the animals. In the box there is all sorts of stuff done by my daughter such as lessons she made up with the animals. It is really nice to see after all these years. Obviously, my daughter was older when she was using the sets.
We have got the house and the school and tons of accessories. They are all in really good condition including the boxes. My daughter was a tidy little girl!
It is always worth keeping old toys if you have room to store them. My son's Lego all went into the loft and he is slowly retrieving it for his sons to play with. He can only take a box at a time though as his wife thinks the house is already too full of toys:rotfl:0
