alternative wedding bouquets

Hi there,
I'm not sure whether I want to have flowers for the bouquets, but am stuck trying to figure out what else to have instead. We're having quite a fun themed youthful wedding (complete with bouncy castles, lots of games, swirly lollipops for our centrepieces instead of flowers). The colour scheme will be yellow. But I'm stuck trying to figure out what I could have as the bouquet (I was going to have sunflowers, but due to cost and also the fact that flowers won't last beyond the day would rather have something that could be kept after). Can anyone think of anything that would fit in with the theme and still look good?

I know a lot of people are going down this route but what about a button bouquet? Or a really colourful felt bouquet maybe? On 'love my dress' blog I think I saw a cupcake bouquet earlier on0

Could you have a kind of bouquet made of giant lollipops? That would be quite cool, but don't know if it would be possible?much work to be done - new sig coming soon...0

Yellow candyfloss on a stick! If you're worried you'll eat it - or attract bees, you could make it out of that fluff from pillows dyed yellow.
I'm also having a yellow (and dove grey) themed wedding and I'm going to knit flowers for my hair!saving up another deposit as we've lost all our equity.
We're 29% of the way there...0 -
You could probably make one from small lollies would be quite fiddly but I am sure it is possible. Or you could just be really different and carry like one of those giant chubb chubs or a big swirly lolly!Getting married Wednesday 24th August 2011!

Wow thanks for the responses everyone, lots to think about! :T I particularly like the candy floss idea, though maybe wouldn't go with candyfloss (I have a slight wasp phobia and would be a bit on edge
)Instead of dying it yellow maybe I could make it look like clouds and have a sunshine type vibe to the bouquet? hmmmm, think I need a pad to start designing.
