Excuse me - silly question coming up....

I've been reading the thread about selling sim cards on eBay and found Laura's info very helpful.
So I brought in my box of Sims and thought I'd look and see if any have "good" numbers.
But I can't find the numbers. All sims are in sealed packs and of course the sims show through a little window with 20 numbers showing - none of which look like phone numbers!
Clearly I am being thick here but I hope someone will tell me how to find the numbers
thanks (blushing).

So how can people sell sim cards with a "golden number"?towseriv wrote:The number is allocated by the service provider and is not pre-determined on the SIM
On one occasion I bought a phone I specifically remember being offered a choice of numbers and these were on the CD case that enclosed the sim and network manual.0 -
Yep! I can definitely remember receiving Sim cards with the number on. Maybe that has changed now?Stop looking for answers....

All the sim cards I have here show a mobile number, but my packaging has a sort of viewing window cut through to show a number.
I haven't heard of sim cards coming without a number before? Even when i changed my phone provider they sent me a new sim and told me to ignore the phone number associated with it as in 72 hours that number on the sim would be deactivated and my existing phone number associated with the sim.

Well, you can still find golden numbers advertised on ebay.
Maybe not all networks show you which number you are going to get on the packaging.0
