'Show me' Thanks button causes page jump

This has just started happening. When I click on 'Show me' to see who has posted 'thanks', instead of revealing the IDs of thankers, the page just jumps to the top. It's as if the 'Show me' button has become a 'Go to top of page' button. Anyone else encountered this?

Fine here.

That often seems to be because something is happening to prevent JavaScript running on the page.

If I go into my browser preferences and disable JavaScript, then I can replicate the exact same behaviour.

So.....

Have you in some way turned JavaScript off?

Is any security software or browser addons blocking it?

Have you tried clearing the browser cache?

Thanks for that, Fermi. I tried all your suggestions but nothing changed. Then for some unknown reason, when I booted up today, the problem was gone.

Computers, eh? Can't live with 'em, too expensive to throw out of the window!
