£4.69 out of pocket due to exchange rate differences. Last time that happened to me, Natwest made up the difference but I've written to priceline expressing my disappointment at the flat "can't do it, cancelled, bye" without any kind of "we're really really sorry, have this discount".

Expressing my disappointment is about as far as it went. It's not my nature to stamp and scream but good luck to those of you that do.
  • Yes me out of pocket too, Have put in complaints and have received usual fob off. Am awaiting reply to further emails.

Not going to let this spoil my holiday and my especial thanks to Blindman and Coolio who have been ever so helpful.

Haven't the time to fill out a detailed report- I'm in USA now, off to Hawaii Tuesday 31st.

Stayed at Caesars for the two nights at $20. No problems checking in, though I only got the 'Standard' room as opposed to the better on that was part of this booking.

Didn't want to look a gift horse in the mouth and kick up a fuss so stayed put.

Spoke to reservations whilst I was there and they claim it was Priceline who cancelled the room ( I had Thursday cancelled).
Didn't get anywhere with them for the Thursday night so booked an airport hotel through priceline.

Keep up the pressure with both Caesars and Priceline.

I'm back in UK on 13th Nov, so I'll pursue my 'claim' from then

I really do not know how others got on but I did very well out of this.
They Cancelled my Ceasers booking but after telephone calls and emails. They telephoned me! Ended up in the Flamingo. In a Go room, for $60 a night. Free show at Ballys. Drinks in Ceasers Palace for one night and a limo back to the airport when we left!
    More than happy!!!

    Excellent result!

I wish they'd cancelled mine as the rooms at Caesar's were naff!

    Just about worth $20.
