Tax Credits & 16 hour rule?

I started working p/t in September after being on IS for a few months due to a relocation. Short version is that I am a lone parent and started work and I am getting the childcare element of WTC, WTC & child tax credit.
I have been doing 16 hours per week but it is likely int he next month for this to drop to 12-14 hours a week. I knew this might happen when taking the job.
Now I know to qualify for the WTC & Childcare element I need to be doing 16 hour minimum, my sister has asked me to clean her house and obviously if I do this I want to do it legally and declare it. So if I was to do this via the HMRC and declare my earnings etc can I then include this in my 16 hours a week?
Do I need to tell tax credits the first week I don;t do 16 hours in this job? Bit confused
Thanks

Your 16 hours can be spread across more than one job so as long as you do the cleaning job legally and declare everything you will still qualify.0
