HTC Wildfire deals on three

Found this yesterday for anyone after a new contract:

http://www.buymobilephones.net/mobile-phones/HTC/HTC-Wildfire-Clearance/3/12-Internet-Talker-300-(24mths)/6632323

it's on three for 24 months and for your monthly £12 you get 300 minutes or texts and it includes 500mb of internet. If you need a few more minutes for £15 you can up it to 500 and get the phone free:

not the best plans for those after a lot of minutes but i thought they were good value including the internet allowance for that price

i don't have one, one should be arriving for my mum tomorrow from this deal. It's almost the same specs as my HTC Hero which i love and find simple to use. They run the android system so theres a lot of apps on the market to do most stuff you'd want to. It's got fairly good reviews and they seem to be consistant that you get a lot for the money.

It's a FANTASTIC phone; I've had it since June. Easy to use, practical, functional, a screen that you can pinch and zoom etc.

The only downside is the battery which doesn't last that long, but as I understand it that's the same with most Smartphones, esp when Wifi is on all the time.

I have mine on T-Mobile/Orange, £15 as month for 100 mins, unlimited texts and 'unlimited internet' (2GB/month). Phone was free and got £80 cashback, too. Bargain!

It looks MUCH better than previous incarnations of HTC budget smartphones. The screen isn't as good as the Desire or Hero, but that's why the phone doesn't cost a fortune.

It has a whole set of widgets such as FriendStream which runs your friends' FB statuses, twitter comments etc to your phone, and it links all your friends' photos, phone book entries etc to FB (*if you want it to*) so everything links very nicely.

Easy to set up email accounts etc.

Happy to answer any specific questions if you like, but as an entry level smartphone, it's MUCH better than entry level!

' <-- See that? It's called an apostrophe. It does not mean "hey, look out, here comes an S".

Great phone, especially for social networking.

Battery life will just about last morning to night!!

One downside is screen - it is QVGA so resolution is not quite as strong as HVGA. This does mean some apps (such as Angry Birds!) are not able to run on the Wildfire.

This is however a small downside of an otherwise great little phone.
  • Great phone, to help save battery life download Advanced Task Killer (free) from the android market.

use the included power control widget too. It takes up 4 of the squares on one of your screens but give you quick access to turn wifi, gps, bluetooth and auto sync on and off and lets you adjust the brightness of your screen too, saves a lot of power with all these functions turned off and you dont notice because they re so easy to turn back on when needed

i have had this phone for 6 weeks now it is an excellent phone i would recomend it for a smartphone on a buget
  • I've taken the smartphone plunge - so excited! Went with this phone company but opted for a new Wildfire phone (the OP's deals are on refurbished ones). If quidco works & I reclaim the cashback deal successfully then the phone will only cost me just over £9 / month! (& yes, I know both are big ifs).

Unfortunately the company is experiencing high demand & a delay in order processing (effect of Grabbiting, I guess), so the next day delivery bit isn't happening. I'll have to be patient!
