Hope you manage to sort them out - I found it imposssible to kill maggots when they got in the bin. Tried boiling water but they came back to life. Tried bleach but again no good - had to stamp on them which was gross. My OH said that petrol would have worked - but if I did that and set them on fire I'd probably end up with the house in flames!!
You should have put them out in your garden, bird love them especially robins. They would have been gone in no time0 -
Get the vacuum cleaner and hoover them up.0

Open the window and get them to fly out.
Hoover the dead ones up
Once the bin is out and cleaned
Look under the kick boards in your kitchen just to check you don't have a dead creature of some sort under there!!!Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100/100miles

I had this experience, whilst in - quite a posh - rented flat. I had the estates maintainence team round, who sprayed fly killer etc. What they failed to do was what kazwookie suggests - check properly behind the washing machine and the drain vents.
A few months later we had other evidence of a rodent infestation. When they actually investigated properly, they found the body of a rat- that had been dead a very long time - what we now know to be the source of the original bluebottle infestation.
When the bluebottles have gone- the underlying problem may still be there. It's worth a thorough check. Also ask neighbours etc if there's any sign of rodents.0
