Text missing on laptop screen

Had this problem now for a few days. It appears at random. Text or icons disappear fully or parts of it on the screen. Can't see the text on the website/document etc. It seems the graphics software may be playing up.
Any idea what i can do?

Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems

Does it occur in "Safe Mode" ?
I recall a friend demonstrating a piece of software he had written that did exactly this back in 1989 ! Therefore it would also worth running Malwarebytes and a virus scan (if the situation allows).
In case your wondering....... my friend never released his program out of the Lab and "into the wild" - it was purely proof of concept.

The 'conficker' virus was renound for this last year, so id definitely run a few scans
Maybe your graphics driver is corrupt or needs updating?:idea:0
