Hi I've just started photography as a hobby and have opened a flickr account, but its very slow on the basic uploader, I've tried downloading the other bit to help speed things up but it gets to 53% and nothing happens ,then I had a message about integrity, any help please.

Right click on one of the pictures and select 'Properties'. It will tell you the size.pennyshahin wrote: »Hi.I don't know how do I check?
These days with 10+ megapixel cameras being the norm, a single photo can easily run 1-2MB. It's very unlikely that you need such large resolution to upload to flickr, you can resize them before uploading to save a lot of timepoppy100 -
Use Uploadr to send your files to flickr. It is easier to tag photos etc before you upload them, but it won't to anything to speed up your uploads if the limiting factor is your broadband connection. You can go to bed and leave a slow upload running though!0
