    Thanks for the advice.
    I am thinking we should have the timer on as you say between 6-11 and then lower the room thermostats. We don't have the heating on between 8-9 (ish) as we feel the house is warm enough with it being brand new its very well insulated as you can imagine.

    When you get bored, I expect you'll set the timer and leave it alone like the rest of us.

    In the mean time, leave the thermostat alone, have the timer off all the time. Just push the boost button whem you feel cold.
