New Router now two laptops cannot connect to internet

Hi

SKY replaced our router as the speeds were very slow and connection kept dropping. Have managed to set it up Ok and two of the laptops connected straight away. However one of the laptops and one net book cannot get a connection.

I am a total idiot regarding technology and it is probably something really simple but l do not have the knowledge to figure out what.

Any ideas ?

Log into the router and try changing the channel from the default.

Good idea.
You could also try downloading inSSIDer, and use it to scan for wireless networks to ensure that yours is not being interfered with.

When you say cannot get a connection, can the laptop and netbook at least see the wireless network in the list of networks?
If they can it is likely that either the encryption key is wrong or there is MAC address filtering enabled on the router.
