What do you mean by a rip-off site? It doesn't appear to be the "official" Links website which is http://www.linksoflondon.com/ Their grasp of English seems to be a bit flaky in places. Good luck! Are you for real? - Glass Half Empty??

thanks. i meant more the validity of the payment method being visamasterpay - is this a genuine method of payment or is it just one scammers use?
thanks0 -
Looks like a foreign site. Had a quick thumb through. Didn't like the look of "Fast Shipping to UK, No Sales Tax." and no obvious terms and conditions (perhaps they are buried somewhere).
You may be required to pay duty/VAT on delivery (unless I've missed something). Of course the "no sales tax" could actually mean they've got an arrangement to pay the VAT/duty in advance so you really do have nothing more to pay.0 -
Thanks for that, I did spot that and thought it was too good to be true but I think I must have had a rush of blood to the head and went for it. I'm in 2 minds whether to wait and see what happens or ring the bank tomorrow and cancel my card and see about getting my money back. VISAMASTERPAY have been reported a fair few times in relation to a dodgy ipod sales site so I'm just not too sure what to do!0

If they're sharp the payment may already have gone through. I suppose you could cancel your card now. But it gets a bit dodgy if you say you've lost it when you haven't.0

Beware - I ordered Links of London charms from linkslondon-jewellery.com on 2nd Dec - initially thought this was a genuine website, payment supported by Visamasterpay.com but appeared on bank statement as first2pay.com - all very suspicious especially when amount was greater than expected.
Turns out both above sites are scams operated from China.
Have never received goods and unsure whether I will get my money back as paid on Visa debit card.
