looking for site that I can download films to pc/flash drive so I can send a couple of flash drives [postage] to someone who will be out of country for 8 months but has solar power to back up batteries for pc.
have never downloaded films to watch on pc as prefer books.
don't mind paying , do not want dodgy sites ,thinking along lines of divx for space.

  • I've used blinkbox before via their free codes from the metro (I think) and it seems good. I've only downloaded it onto my computer though and don't know if you can burn it or not. I think yes, if you put in your password...

    It would be much,much cheaper to just burn to dvd,as data, and post them, rather than use usb drives. A dvd 4.3GB costs from 12p. Assuming pc can play dvd's- but even cd's @700MB would be much cheaper than usb drives.
    What sort of stuff are you after sending?
