Iphone techie question

in Techie Stuff
On my OH iphone when he wants to look at his photos a map comes up first of where photos were taken. He just touches one of the icons on the map and all pics taken whilst in that location come up. He doesn't know how he did it. I want mine to do that but cant find out how to.
Can anyone help?
