What can I do with old make up?

You could scape the contents into the bin and recycle the plastic containers. The contents will be mostly oils and chemicals, won't they?0

I'm not fussed about old makeup unless it smells off. Join the "no toiletries for November" thread and use that old stuff up!!0

If it's very posh, try ebaying it... amazing what women will buy. I sold half a bottle of St Tropez mousse for £9, a Chanel foundation for a fiver... A friend even sold one of the Benefit 'Bathina' body rub cream things (half used!) for £3 once she'd cleaned it up!!
Make sure you provide good pictures, and accurate descriptions (ie make clear if it's opened or used, and how much is left). Don't sell anything which smells horrible or has separated etc - the only thing for that is to chuck it out. Clean everything beautifully. Start the listing at 99p, try and make sure it ends outside school hours, and don't sell anything where you know you have anything infectious that might be in what you're selling. Chuck in a 'freebie' with whatever sells to get rid of the rest of it.
Then resolve that you will only buy what you need and you will use it up completely before buying any new makeup :-)0
