release date for pink ds lite is 27th October, her birthday is 30th October- what's the chances they will send it out on time-

anyone used play.com ?

Thanks in advance.:D

No bad results - stuff has always arrived for me (looking back through about 15 pages of past orders  )

There's a chance that it won't get to you before 30th if it's released on 27th.... might be worth having a backup pressie on standby - like a picture of a Pink DS Lite ;)

In many cases it helps if you say where you are - someone with local knowledge might be able to give local specifics rather than general advice

My daughter usually buys all her dvds through play.com. Never had a problem, and she usually finds them the most competitive.
  • I have used them for many years. Never had any problems.

If something has not arrived, just a phone call gets a replacement sent out.

Only once has customs charged me duty (three weeks ago) for an item over £18.00 so I cannot complain at all.

    Thanks everyone!

    play.com it is then.

Since there are no outstanding deals to be had on the price of a DS Lite-even for a black or white DS lite, I figure it's worth going a couple of pounds extra to get her a special pink one, it's not often she will be the first to get something like this as soon as it comes out!

Only thing I have to decide now is for games...Nintendogs or Brain Training for a girl who's going to be 8...

i'm a lot older than 8, but have seen nintendogs and it looks great!! i lived with someone who was probably a little obsessed with it (mid-twenties so a bit scary!), but it's very cute.... depends on your daughter entirely though!
