i have to renew my car insurance on december 23rd which over the years is getting dearer and dearer. I would somehow like to try and change this renewel later in the year say march when it won't be such a financial burden.
I am not sure how to go about this should i try a monthly insurance?
or cancel and renew?. Has anyone had a similar experience?

How about bringing it forward to this month? You may not get anything back from the remainder of the old policy but if the renewal is that much cheaper then perhaps it would be beneficial for future years?0

OP - you have 364 days to prepare for the renewal of your insurance. What's the problem?0

You could try taking out a 10 month policy, some companies do that, also gets your years NCB quicker
Admiral, Bell, Elephant and Diamond all do it0
