prepayment electricity switching
i'm with scottish power, and uswitch reckons i can save around £25 a year (every little helps) thing is i'm still paying off a debt to scottish power, if i switched would that be transferred or would i need to pay it all off to scottish power? if that makes sense?

If the debt is less than £200 you can take it with you. It takes a bit longer, but it can be done.0

it does take a lot longer, it took us five months nda four attempts to get over to BG from SP. Also we are waiting for the debt to be reassigned and the meter to be reset. By the time they get around to doing that we should be in credit!! I would say that it is well worth it though to get away from SPIf the debt is less than £200 you can take it with you.
