electric shower stopped suddenly and now won't work

I have a galaxy mystique shower (fitted about 4 years ago) . I have aalways had problems controlling the temperature on it. However last night it stopped mid shower. The red light on the shower box isn't coming on. the pull cord light still works and I have checked the fuse box and that is fine. I took the front off this morning and I can't see any thing that stands out as different or "blown" lookng.

any suggestions or is it a case of replacing it?

No water ? check the stop !!!!

all other water sources are fine. it stopped in the middle of a shower. do you mean the stop under the sink or somehing in the shower itself?

it could be the water pressure, does the shower come off a feeder tank or from the mains, if the pressure is low the element eventually burns out - mine did! got a direct mains feed to the shower and not had any problems for about three years...
