Unable to access my hotmail account

Please can anyone help I have been using hotmail to retrieve my hotmail email account messages fine before today, however today I have this message come up

This Connection is Untrusted

You have asked Firefox to connect
securely to login.live.com, but we can't confirm that your connection is secure.

Normally, when you try to connect securely,
sites will present trusted identification to prove that you are
going to the right place. However, this site's identity can't be verified.



What Should I Do?



If you usually connect to
this site without problems, this error could mean that someone is
trying to impersonate the site, and you shouldn't continue.






Technical Details

login.live.com uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate is not trusted.

(Error code: sec_error_untrusted_issuer)




I Understand the Risks

Does anyone know what this is meant I dont have wireless broadband access so i cant see how anyone else could be dialling in on me. I havent as yet done anything. Your help would be appreciated.

Have you tried to login via Internet Explorer instead ?

No i will try now thanks, just noticed i have tried now to reserve something at Argos online and it says the same.

If that doesn't work then try running Malwarebytes and C Cleaner.

Well tried to use internet explorer and the lap top went caboosh and broke, i have had it over 8 yrs no matter what i done it would not switch on so guess it was telling me it was on its way out so went out and bought a new one cost me £450 but cannot do without the internet.

The computer switched off and i cannot no matter what i do get it back on, i start it up and then it just switches off, last time i had a computer buff to look at my computer it cost me £150 which wasnt worth it seeing as it was 8 years old trouble is i have lost all my piccies on it :mad:

HAve you tired it without the battery in? Disconnect the mains remove the battery and then try with just the mains plug in . Should be able to get the piccies off any way, by putting the disk into a caddy but lets try other avenues first before that..
