I love your bouquet, I think you've done a fab job, and you'll enjoy and be proud of it even more as you learnt new skills in making it.
The invitations look great too, I've been coveting the Martha Stewart butterfly punch for ages - might treat myself to one for Christmas!A waist is a terrible thing to mind.0 -
Thanks
Both the butterfly punches are from hobbycraft! The big one is quite hard to use on the thick card we only make like 10 at a time and keep them in an envelope because it is such hard work.Getting married Wednesday 24th August 2011!

Originally I was going to handmake the big butterflies on the invites. I gave up after a few because each one took almost an hour to cut. I tried doing them in stacks but that murdered the knives!

I am not really a fabric/wool/thread type of person because I have a background of illustration and sculpture. I thought it would be too much to make a wire bouquet so I just accepted the stems would have wire enough for me!
I enjoyed doing the flowers for while but I prefered putting them together rather than all that embroidery, that was driving me round the bend after 2 days and we have to make loads of favours yet which are embroided..fun lol
I finished table name cards last night, another thing ticket off my to do list makes me very happy!
I might take pictures of our favours and table name cards actually while I already have a thread..Getting married Wednesday 24th August 2011!
