Thomas Cook airlines are fine. Don't worry. They are not as good as the major flag carriers (BA, Air Canada). They make you buy the headsets (so take your own), and - horrors - charge you for alcohol. But when Thomas Cook (Canadian Affair - same thing) are a good £250 cheaper, I can grit my teeth for 10 hours.
More seriously, you might want to check how often Thomas Cook are delayed and by how much. This is a more major irritation than the lack of free booze.
Also, consider paying by credit card (even though it costs more). I had spent £2500 on tickets with Zoom airlines a couple of years back. When Zoom went bust, RBS refunded my entire payment immediately (including the credit card supplement), and I could re-book elsewhere. If I had used my debit card, I might have never seen the money again.0 -
I hope you are wrong? We have just booked premium class flights Glasgow to Vancouver for May 2011.Have a look here. http://www.airlinequality.com/Forum/thoscook.htm
